Ingredients.

  • 1 large cauliflower, in small florets
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 200 ml Hoegaarden white beer
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Preparation Method

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic and sauté until soft and translucent.

  2. Add the cauliflower florets to the pan and fry briefly, turning them lightly golden brown.

  3. Pour the Hoegaarden Witbier into the pan and bring to a boil. Simmer the beer for a few minutes to allow the alcohol to evaporate and the flavors to develop.
